The Victorian Government is proud to be associate partner of Skandia Geelong Week, Australia's largest sailing regatta and Victoria's oldest sporting event. The State Government continues to market Victoria as an international brand in the global sports events market, attracting many of the world's most important sporting events.

The Victorian sporting calendar includes a range of world class events such as the Australian Tennis Open, the Australian FORMULA 1 Grand Prix and the Spring Racing Carnival. These events attract participants and spectators from across Australia and overseas, adding approximately $900 million each year to the Victorian economy.
